The views over the sea to the south and west, and at low tide of a huge expanse of smooth washed yellow sand reaching to Burgh Island, are outstanding. Apartment 8, the best-sited ground floor corner apartment, has a large terrace and is decorated in peaceful, neutral colours. Blow away the cobwebs with a bracing stroll along the beach or the island's jolly pub, The Pilchard, is fun to visit (long-legged sea tractor at high tide). Best for maximum of 4 adults.
